At Çağ Decor Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Çağ Decor”), we take the security of your personal data seriously. This notice has been prepared under Article 10 of Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, to explain how your personal data is processed through the cagdecor.com website, our showroom and our communication channels.

Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Çağ Decor Ticaret Limited Şirketi in its capacity as data controller.

Personal data processed

Depending on how you use our services, we may process the following personal data:

  • Identity information: first and last name.
  • Contact information: telephone number, province and district, and your email address if provided; the full address you provide for a site survey, delivery or installation.
  • Request and project information: the spaces you want to renovate, measurements, product, material and colour preferences, timing and budget preferences, your notes, and photos and plans you share with us.
  • Customer transaction information: records relating to quotes, orders, contracts, delivery, installation and after-sales support.
  • Financial information: billing and payment information if a contract is concluded.
  • Transaction security information: the IP address, browser information, and visit date and time recorded by the hosting server when you visit the site.
  • Site usage information (only with your consent): pages visited, link clicks, form submissions, device type and approximate location at city level.

We do not intend to process special categories of personal data, such as health, religion or ethnic origin. Please do not include this information in forms or messages.

Purposes of processing personal data

  • Receiving and assessing your quote, consultation and information requests, and responding to you,
  • Scheduling site surveys where applicable, taking measurements, and preparing your project and quote,
  • Concluding and performing contracts: managing production, delivery, installation, after-sales support and warranty procedures,
  • Meeting invoicing, accounting and other statutory obligations,
  • Establishing, exercising and protecting rights in potential disputes,
  • Ensuring the security of the website,
  • Measuring site usage and improving our site with your consent.

Legal grounds

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of KVKK:

  • Direct relevance to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c): quote and consultation requests, ordering, delivery and installation procedures.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç): records required by tax and commercial legislation and Law No. 5651.
  • Establishing, exercising or protecting a right (Art. 5/2-e).
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f): responding to your request and ensuring service quality and site security, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not prejudiced.
  • Explicit consent (Art. 5/1): analytics cookies and the site usage information collected through them. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

How personal data is collected

Your personal data is collected through the following channels, partly by automated and partly by non-automated means:

  • Quote and consultation forms on the site: Your contact details, measurements and product preferences are not sent from the form to our server. We receive your WhatsApp message when you send it in WhatsApp. If you download the quote summary as a PDF, the file is generated on your device and reaches us only if you share it. Optional room photos are prepared on your device when selected; they are uploaded to the server when you enable photo sharing and press the WhatsApp quote button. An album link that is difficult to guess and valid for 7 days is created with the room names and request number. Anyone who has the link can view the photos. The album becomes inaccessible after 7 days; expired files are deleted during the next server cleanup. Photos are also included in the PDF summary generated on your device.
  • Phone, WhatsApp, email and Instagram communications with us.
  • Showroom visits and project consultations.
  • By automated means: server logs when you visit the site; analytics cookies with your consent (for details, see Cookie Policy).

Transfer of personal data

For the purposes stated above, your personal data may be transferred to the following recipients where necessary:

  • Legally authorised public institutions and organisations, upon request and to the extent permitted by law,
  • Financial advisers and accounting service providers, for invoicing and tax obligations,
  • Business partners involved in production, transport and installation, limited to the information required for the work, such as the delivery address and telephone number.

Transfer abroad: When you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are transmitted and processed through the infrastructure of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which provides the WhatsApp service. If you consent to analytics cookies, your site usage information is processed on the servers of Google Ireland Limited and its affiliates (Google Analytics). Our hosting provider's servers may also be located abroad. International transfers take place under the conditions set out in Article 9 of KVKK.

Retention period

Your personal data is retained for the period required for its processing purpose and for the retention periods prescribed by applicable legislation. After these periods, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you may apply to the data controller to:

  • learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether your personal data is used for that purpose,
  • learn which third parties receive your personal data in Turkey or abroad,
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
  • request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK,
  • request that third parties who received your data be notified of corrections, deletion or destruction,
  • object to a result against your interests arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems,
  • request compensation for damage caused by the unlawful processing of your personal data

How to submit a request

In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller, you may submit your requests in writing, together with information identifying you, to Sinanbey, Alanyurt Cad. No:15/B, 16400 İnegöl / Bursa , or send them from the email address previously provided to us and registered in our system to info@cagdecor.com .

We will respond to your application free of charge as soon as possible, and no later than thirty days, depending on the nature of your request. If processing incurs an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
